Spoiler: Modern Talking – były duet dance'owo-popowy pochodzący z Niemiec.
Duet Modern Talking powstał w 1984 założony przez producenta i kompozytora, Dietera Günthera Bohlena. Po długich poszukiwaniach wokalisty, wybrał on Bernda Weidunga, który przyjął pseudonim Thomas Anders. Już pierwszy singel You're My Heart, You're My Soul (wydany 29 października 1984) stał się wielkim przebojem. Również kolejne single były wielkimi hitami, nie tylko w Niemczech, ale także w całej Europie i Japonii.
Jesienią 1987 zespół zawiesił działalność. Głównym powodem była ówczesna żona Thomasa, Nora Balling, która wtrącała się w sprawy zespołu i skutecznie dezorganizowała jego działalność.
W 1998 zespół powrócił z płytą Back For Good (zawierającą nowe wersje największych przebojów, oraz cztery premierowe nagrania), która rozeszła się w nakładzie ponad 10 mln. Kolejne płyty odniosły również spory sukces. W 2003 roku stosunki między członkami zespołu uległy pogorszeniu, co ostatecznie doprowadziło do rozpadu grupy.
